Shipping Supervisor: What You Will Do: Will oversee day to day shipping responsibilities and will supervise 25 full time employees and ensure standard work and procedures are being followed. Will plan and execute daily shipping targets that are critical to meeting our customer's demands. Will be responsible for reporting out on Safety, Quality, and Delivery metrics. Ensures that materials are checked against vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, and similar documentation. Oversees the record keeping of damaged or defective items and discrepancies with regard quantities or weights. Records time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials that been shipped or received. Evaluates the efficiency of existing shipping/receiving processes, implementing procedural improvements when necessary. Monitors and tracks staff performance against organizational objectives. Reviews and maintains records of shipping/receiving processes.
