Job Description Summary Yonomi is an Allegion brand focused on enterprise level Internet of Things solutions. We are looking for a Solution Engineer Intern to join our team. This position will be a member of the Customer Success Organization. The Solution Engineer will assist with triaging issues that our customers send us. Our customers are B2B customers who are developing solutions using our API platform. You will learn how to use our own APIs and help guide our customers in their solution development. This position will help triage customer issues, identify the problem, and design the best technical solution for solving it. Yonomi is one of Allegion’s 30 brands that is developing a powerful cloud platform and suite of apps that dramatically enhances and simplifies life with connected devices. Responsibilities Learn the Yonomi API Platforms Triage and identify root cause of customer submitted issues Assist in documenting troubleshooting steps, FAQs, and best practices Build a technical knowledge base for improving triage methods and speeds Support production of content to assist sales, marketing, and customers including blog posts, training videos, and documentation Qualifications Experience with REST-based API development and usage Hard worker who is self-motivated Hungry and eager to learn new technologies Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingness to dive into any issue in order to diagnose a problem Effectively manage problems, guiding them to a resolution Customer-first attitude with the ability to think like a customer Technical Skills Javascript NodeJS Github NPM Postman API experience (REST and/or GraphQL) Cloud serverless experience a bonus Regardless of your degree, Allegion is a great place to begin your career.
