Allegion is looking for a talented Software Product Manager to own a key product, the Interoperability Service, within its next-gen Open IoT Platform. The Interoperability Service allows third-party software developers to connect to and control Allegion smart locks and complete smart spaces in a quick, easy, and delightful way. The Interoperability Service Product Manager will play a key role in the success of this product and the next generation Platform. Not only will they craft the product, they will also work broadly across the company to allow others to work in concert around a single vision, understand customer needs and business context, power a great go-to-market, and more. This is an intensely cross-disciplinary role that calls for someone with a broad range of Product skills backed by great communication and technical understanding. Position can be primarily remote, however prefer someone in in the Boulder/Denver area for occasional visits to the office for key meetings, etc. What You Will Do: Craft the roadmap for the Interoperability Service and share with teammates, other parts of the company, customers, and prospects Collaborate with the Product Owner and technical leads to enable development and to ensure that execution meets the product requirements and vision Gather and analyze information from team members, customers, prospects, and the market at large to inform the roadmap Collaborate with other Product Managers to plan across the Open IoT Platform and related efforts Coordinate releases, research, and ongoing work with Product Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and other key stakeholders Define, scope, and name metrics for upcoming projects Feed Product Marketing and the Go-To-Market team the knowledge and materials they need for successful launches and sales Collaborate with the VP of Product for IoT Platform and Services on overall Product Strategy What You Need to Succeed: 4 years of experience in Product Management 2 years of experience managing a SaaS product 2 years of experience managing platforms or API-based products Fluent in engineering processes Ability to explain strategy and complex products clearly, even to non-technical audiences Additional background in software is a plus, e.g. in Engineering, Customer Success, etc. Experience in IoT is a plus Experience with Scaled Agile is another plus Why Work for Us?
