IT Project Manager-Carmel, IN-Remote Texas This position is responsible for the overall coordination of multiple, simultaneous high-profile IT projects that support the Allegion IT program for the Americas region. These projects will drive efficiency, better internal and external customer experience and new technical capabilities. This could include, but may not be limited to, internal efficiencies, system integrations, custom software development, and customer care enablement projects. What You Will Do: Support the business in establishing project requirements, schedules, budgets, and managing key IT development resources. Analyze existing business processes and software, then recommend and design improvements Leading the project delivery of technical solutions for projects leveraging agile project management methodologies Work with the IT team, business functions, external vendors, and contract resources to support delivery of project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner Be an advocate for and lead agile delivery maturity What you need to Succeed Be able to communicate effectively in business terms and technical terms as appropriate Have the ability to communicate well verbally and in writing, with various team members in roles that are both technical and non-technical particularly to give direction to other team members or present business value of various initiatives to leadership Be Self-motivated with good time management skills and to stay current with new technology and processes in information technology Can successfully engage with and manage a geographically distributed team Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with customers, stakeholders, senior leadership, suppliers and other regions Work closely with both business and IT functions to ensure efficient and timely program deliverables Provide work direction and general project management oversight to assigned programs including scheduling, assignment of work, and review project efforts to ensure that the program meets technical and process specifications Effectively coordinate with internal IT application teams to ensure integration points are managed and accounted for Effectively be able to track project deliverables and, as needed, be able to provide detailed reports of progress against plan. Ability to generate reports and develop appropriate conclusions to ensure achievement of requirements, schedule, priorities, performance, and profitability Ability to identify issues, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis Effectively influence and collaborate with internal & external customers to drive toward successful project outcomes and software releases.
