Description: Scarborough Public Schools is seeking a registered nurse. The ideal candidate will work with a partner nurse to provide day to day nursing services for a student body of approximately 700 students, and will work as a member of our district health services team to oversee all school health policies and programs. SPS nurses provide expertise and oversight of school health services and promote health education with students and staff..
Qualifications: School nurses must possess a current RN license in Maine and a bachelor’s degree. The ideal candidate will also have at least three years of experience as a nurse, with direct work working with children/adolescents.
Maine State Law requires ALL school employees to be fingerprinted and pass a Criminal History Record Check (CHRC). A copy of your CHRC MUST be uploaded as part of your application to be considered.
