The Job
The Sales Assistant is responsible for performing a range of basic office support activities for the sales department, such as answering phones and directing calls, greeting and directing visitors, answering questions and performing routine clerical and administrative work as assigned. This individual will be part of the Sales Team and provide both administrative support as well as project coordination support.
You will
Answer phones and field questions related to Sales activity, providing quality customer service.
Resolve issues experienced by Agents in a timely manner. Escalate appropriately to management, as needed.
Prepare and provide accurate documentation.
Collect enrollment applications, as needed, from Sales Representatives and Brokers and ensure delivery for processing.
Organize work by reading and routing correspondence; collecting information; initiating telecommunications.
Manage records in sales management system, including new entries, dispositioning existing entries and entering events.
Order, stock and distribute office and sales supplies.
Assist in the coordination of company events, as needed.
Support the Sales Team and Sales Manager with projects as needed.
Perform a range of staff and/or operational support activities; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters.
Develops sales reports, as directed.
Coordinate the onboarding of new sales staff and orders all supporting phones, computers, etc.
Coordinate the collection and submission of sales event information. Receives event information from Sales Representatives, enters into spreadsheet and submits to the Sales Operations department. Submit finalized information to CMS, as directed.
Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
