About the Agency:

The Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (SCADD) has been providing quality treatment services to men and women struggling with addiction since 1966. SCADD is able to provide a continuum of treatment services, licensed by the State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health. We are an agency that believes in second chances and the ability of people to find recovery. We provide High-Intensity Residential Treatment, Low-Intensity Residential Treatment, Outpatient & Intensive Outpatient, Withdrawal Management (formerly referred to as Detox) Medication Management, and Recovery Housing. Our empathetic, compassionate staff is dedicated to supporting people with addiction.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and supporting the efforts of SCADD, Inc., to carry out marketing campaigns, social media presence, and events. Their duties include exploring area provider calendars and compiling reports about the needs of the community, creating marketing campaign content like graphics, blog posts, or social media posts, implementing a re-branding initiative, and assisting in executing appropriate marketing events for the varied services provided by SCADD, Inc. The individual will work closely with staff to coordinate all scheduled events and outreach on behalf of SCADD, Inc.

Additionally, the coordinator will evaluate and recommend Marketing and Communication plans and strategies including public relations, media relations, online giving, digital communications, key messaging, storytelling, and brand experience.

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade education

· Excellent written, oral, presentation, facilitation and communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with others in managing complex issues

· Confident in working independently and spearheading initiatives

· Data management and analysis experience

· Proven and measurable experience in developing and implementing a wide variety of fundraising and/or marketing programs for non-profit organization
