SBS Transportation is seeking an Administrative Assistant to help our Operations team with various transportation industry tasks to support Dispatchers, Drivers, Operations Managers, Fleet Managers and more!
Job Overview: This position is responsible for accurate invoice processing including verifying charges and making sure all documents are scanned prior to the load approval. Responsible for sending of all Balance due invoices and any statements on specific customers to keep their accounts current making sure to pay close attention to communications to ensure that the needs of the customers are met regarding any accounting or billing issues.
Responsible to ensure specific customers paperwork is being scanned and making sure to classify paperwork for digital storage and that the billing backup is accurate per load. You will verify charges, input data such as appointments and delivery details along with unload PODs on Customer portals. When necessary, upload the Rail in/out gates from Railroad websites or emails when needed.
This position is responsible for ensuring that business operations are accomplished effectively and efficiently. Review and assess processes to determine if there are ways to improve efficiency for processes.
This role is offered on a Monday-Friday basis during regular business hours (estimated 7am-3:30pm schedule) and starts at $18-$24 per hour depending on experience.
