SBS Group of Companies is seeking an Ocean Export Coordinator to join our growing team! The Ocean Export Coordinator will process and review export related activities for key accounts. Ideal candidates will be able to provide excellent customer service, demonstrate industry knowledge including preparation of quotes, tracing freight, and ensuring compliance.

This is an in-office position during regular business hours at a salary of $45,000-$55,000 per year.

Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers through exceptional customer service
• Generate, review and audit highly regulated documentation regarding freight forwarding and shipping
• Manage the export process from start to finish for key accounts
• Comply with regulations set by local governing agencies
• Track and review shipping status to ensure timely processing of freight
• Ensure shipments of hazardous materials are checked and processed in accordance with all applicable regulations
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, internal departments and regulatory agencies as required.

Qualified Candidates Will: 

• Have 2 years of freight forwarding experience
• Maintain high level of detail in all work related activities
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
