Position Summary The Business System Analyst provides the technical expertise necessary in the implementation and use of software technology and associated processes throughout the Customer Service group, with a focus on call center support. This position will analyze new software solutions and release updates to determine their benefits in integrating with and improving current products, processes, and infrastructure and will provide management recommendations. The Business System Analyst works directly with management to prepare specifications and requirements of software applications. The Business System Analyst would play an integral role in solution integration, user acceptance testing, and implementation. The Business System Analyst would provide front line support and troubleshooting assistance. The Business System Analyst would also take the lead in providing reporting and analytics for the ATM department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Acquires and maintains application expertise through certification and educational programs. Provides continual system operational support in the implementation of new release and technologies. Assists with security and operational procedures for the business unit. Work with Application Program Interface (API) technologies, including Software Development Toolkits. Participates in Customer Service technology projects as assigned by Management. Provides end user support, researches issues, and participates on special projects. Responsible for troubleshooting investigations via backend methods by capturing log files. Develops and Maintains dashboard, reporting and analysis for the ATM Department. Ensures that all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instruction provided in written or oral form. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence/journals and government regulations. Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, procedures, and correspondence. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively speak, respond to questions, and present information to the following: one-on-one, small groups, managers, senior leaders, and vendor partners. Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships with business unit leaders, internal partners/stakeholders, and vendors. Ability to function in a multi-task team environment. Strong problem solving, planning, organizational and time management skills. Ability to independently set priorities based on organizational objectives. Education and/or Experience Associate degree, technical training, or some college/university experience preferred. One year of experience as an Application Analyst or similar role. Computer Skills MS Office programs SharePoint Workflow or other electronic workflow interface experience. Database reporting experience such as SQL or Power BI. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None Other Qualifications (including physical requirements) Must be able to work in a typical office environment. Occasional travel to other Simmons and/or vendor worksites required.
