Be quality representative for supplier management directed toward process control and quality assurance of purchased connected products. Work with supplier to establish and improve a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality policy, procedure, and requirements.
Lead supplier qualification and approval process. Conduct Business Survey and follow up audit with Sourcing, Technology and SRG team.
Work closely with program team to drive on-time program delivery, establish robust supplier quality control plans and supplier process capability, solve quality issue during products qualification phase, lead program quality assessment and present in program reviews.
Monitor on-going production quality and product regulatory compliance (PRC), conduct supplier process audits, PRC audits, eyes always open, identify potential compliance and quality risk, work out solutions to eliminate or report/escalate on time. Manage supplier change request and get approval by working with cross functional team members.
Solve quality issues feedbacked from customers, identify root cause, and take containment and preventive actions.
Work closely with team to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.
Drive continuous improvement of supplier's quality through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma methodology, SWAT, and other quality activities.
BS degree or above in engineering or technical disciplines.
Minimum five years working experience. Working experience in Smart Electrical Panel or Energy management products is plus.
Strong background and working experience in Supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Control, know how to apply quality control tools for process / product controls, such as SPC, gage R&R, FMEA and DOE.
Strong background in quality system management is needed.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Six Sigma GB Certified.
Self-discipline, Self-starter, Good interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional team environment.
Good English and Chinese communication skills (written and verbal).
Willing to travel often to supplier site and work together with suppliers closely.
