What you’ll do: 

SAS seeks a Software Development Manager to join the management team in its Fraud & Security Intelligence line of business. The Fraud & Security Intelligence line of business produces leading-edge solutions used to detect and prevent financial crime, implement sanctions screening, aide criminal investigations, and more.

In this role you will lead the development of the next generation of SAS Business Orchestration Services, a cloud-based streaming data orchestration framework. SAS Business Orchestration Services is a critical component of the SAS Fraud & Security Intelligence solutions framework, facilitating the flow of data into and through financial crimes detection and prevention systems.

You will ensure the development of a cloud-native, low-latency, easy-to-use data orchestration system. Your team will evaluate engines, design services, and create web application user interfaces. Working alongside a product strategy team in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment, you will deliver frequent releases of new functionality and respond quickly to customer feedback and market demands. You will guide the creation of field enablement materials and ensure a high level of customer support.

Candidates must possess strong design, development, and engineering skills. A strong candidate additionally has comprehensive software development and test automation experience, great organizational and communication skills, and sound management experience. Experience with CI/CD pipeline, cloud technologies, and automated testing is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Java programing and React
• 2 years of experience with full stack software development
• 1 years of experience with development and deployment of containerized software
• 2 years of technical lead or development management experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with streaming data systems
• Experience developing software in a Continuous Delivery environment
