This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in office and working remote from home.
We are currently seeking a experienced Quality Assurance Engineer based out of our downtown Chicago corporate headquarters. This position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your background in engineering by providing technical support in a professional services environment. Your primary role will be assuring the quality of work activities across every division of the company. In this role, you will be expected to be able to effectively lead quality assurance audits while also working with project teams on such diverse activities as problem identification and resolution, support during the procurement of engineered products and materials, and self-assessment activities. You will also assist project teams with the development and execution of project quality plans.
Other duties of the position include may include training employees, the control of purchased items and services, verification of effective corrective action, data analysis and trending, and root cause analysis. The focus of these activities are engineering, design and consulting activities primarily based in our Chicago office. The position may involve approximately 10-15 % domestic travel to other company locations and related supplier facilities for the purpose of audit, surveillance and/or inspection.
