Automotive Mobile Mechanic Job Responsibilities:
Maintains service operations by inspecting, diagnosing, and maintaining vehicles. Service and repair vehicles at the convenient locations for consumers. Having the highest respect and standards for providing great consumer service. Tools and vehicle supplied.
Automotive Mobile Mechanic Job Duties:
--Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
--Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to fleet and consumer concerns; conducting inspections; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components;
--Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; verifying concerns, performing proper diagnosis and repairs.
--Keeps up to date with Ford training and mobile platform
--Active on securing new fleet accounts. BONUS PAID FOR EACH NEW ACQUISITION.
--When Recommended keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
--Contains costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
--Recommended to keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
--Keep up to date on factory publications. --Maintain personal mobile van mechanically and physically. It should always look like a new vehicle and be clean inside and out, and well stocked/organized.
--Clean Driver’s License with no major infractions in the last 3 years.
--Ford STARS or ASE Certifications
--Some competitive Manufacturer Certifications can be converted to Ford Motor Company. If you have them, let’s talk.
--Extensive Shop Experience and familiarity with hand/power/shop tools.
