Summary of Position:

To provide Diabetes, Cardiovascular, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and nutrition education to individuals. Increase awareness and promote self-care to individuals and community. Provide community with tools to make a healthier lifestyle change and promote physical activity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have two years of college in the health field or equivalent work experience
• Be a mature adult and possess good moral character.
• Knowledgeable of community and its residents.
• Be available for full-time employment and able to follow an irregular schedule.
• Knowledgeable in the areas of Diabetes
• Speak both English and fluent in Keres languages.
• Excellent computer and managerial skills to coordinate a multifunctional organization.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must have CPR/First Aid Certification-Required.
• Must be willing to go to trainings prior to employment and during the program operation.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
• Valid New Mexico driver's license with ability to meet Santo Domingo tribe liability insurance requirements and maintain eligibility for insurance.
• Covid-19 vaccination required. Reasonable accommodation considered.
