A qualified Oyster Shucker must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen, can follow specific direction, excited to learn, will look to consistently improve their food knowledge and technical skills, motivated to be the best they can be, and possess excellent organizational skills. If you’ve never shucked an oyster… that’s okay! We will teach the right candidate with the right attitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency! This Culinarian must love to make items coming out of their station pristine, possess grace under pressure, and be undeterred to sharpen their craft. Candidates for this position will possess humility, integrity, and respect.
A flexible schedule is preferred as we are open for both lunch and dinner. Most of all we are looking for individuals passionate about their craft and working with incredible products – a huge bonus if you LOVE seafood! Ultimately, if you're eager to learn, passionate about food, motivated by bringing joy through cooking, and have an off-service mentality then you’re perfect for the position.
