Description
We are seeking to hire a dependable and empathic MA/Med Tech Supervisor who can provide client care for women, pregnant women, and mothers by providing structure and support in the residential milieu for women and children.
In direct coordination with the Clinical Program Manager and Residential Nurse, the MA/Med Tech Supervisor is responsible for the administration, management, and oversight of the resident milieu for clients (and their children) being served by SFRC. Provides oversees and/or administers a wide range of interventions and support techniques to ensure smooth operations and a supportive living environment for clients in residential treatment, including but not limited to crisis intervention, administration of medication, group/individual support, and/or case management services. Requires strong ability to clearly communicate, while guiding program development and individual/family daily programming with internal staff, as well as with community partners.
The center for women and children is unique in New Mexico because it enables mothers to bring their children (0-3 years) with them while in residential treatment. Gender-specific treatment for women focuses on self-esteem, self-worth, and value in an open and honest atmosphere. Mothers are encouraged to discuss their feelings and explore strategies for reunification with their children. This program is aimed at ceasing the generational cycle of trauma, illness, and addiction among families.
