POSITION SUMMARY:
The Santa Clara Pueblo Behavior Health Department provides services to youth, adults and their families. Individuals will receive quality services that wrap around them, meaning that the Pueblo's treatment modalities will be integrated with community supports that respond to the health, housing and economic needs of the individuals and families it services. The mission is to meet the therapeutic needs of the client in a safe and caring environment through teamwork and dedication whereby the client can remain or return to their own home or community and successfully attend school and/or work. This position provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic and/or case management services for program's clients. This position works with therapists, Program Director to implement and maintain the therapeutic model chosen. This position may provide practical training and guidance to paraprofessional staff or other project stakeholders, as needed. This position provides clinical supervision for therapists and all staff dealing directly with Behavioral Health clients. The Clinical Director will develop a structured therapeutic program with the support of the Director to insure culturally based services as it related to the requirements specific to each funding grant, contract, and agreement.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel may be periodically required for training, meetings and presentations and incumbent may be required to work occasional nights and/or weekends.
