SANFORD is currently seeking a qualified Licensed Psychiatrist in Palo Alto, CA .

Qualification of Key Personnel: `

Candidate(s) shall be a licensed psychiatrist to practice in a state, territory or commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.

Description of work:

The chosen psychiatrist(s) will become a facet of the interdisciplinary teams involved with providing care of the whole patients seeking relief from psychiatric illness, anxiety and depression, psychosis, bipolar disease, suicidal ideation, and complex mental health assessments.

Service Requirements: SANFORD is seeking psychiatrists to support the following requirements:

• Inpatient: 24/7 on-call coverage, with the ability to perform in-person inpatient consults as needed in person, within twenty-four (24) hours of call.
• Estimated volumes and time commitment: Approximately six (6) in-person consults per month at the onset, with the likelihood to increase overtime. Estimate one-and-a-half (1.5) hours per weekday for inpatient consultations.
• Expectation: shall respond to calls within one (1) hour to determine if onsite service is medically necessary. If deemed necessary, onsite service should be provided with in the time deemed medically necessary but not to exceed twenty-four (24) hours.
• Outpatient: Coverage for one (1) full day or two (2) half day clinics on site at Roswell Park per week, over fifty-two (52) weeks, with the possibility to go to two (2) full or four (4) half day clinics
• Estimated volumes in outpatient: six (6) to twelve (12) clinic patients per week at the onset, with potential for growth.
