Position Title: Nurse

Location: Crownsville, Maryland

Work Environment: Adolescent Residential Treatment Center

Compensation: $40 per hour RN $5,000 Sign on Bonus

Schedule: Full Time | Sunday/ Monday / Tuesday | 6:00am to 6:30pm (Day Shift)

Position Overview: : Supports medical and clinical team to provide a consistently high level of medical care within an in-patient adolescent residential program. Performs nursing duties and acts as a medical resource and support to Addiction Technicians as needed. Supports the medical and clinical team to provide a safe and stable environment for clients seeking treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders. Supports milieu management in addition to medical responsibilities.This position requires a candidate that is confident and comfortable working with Behavioral Health/Psych clients. Our nurses provide a balance of structure and accountability for clients while guiding them to develop the life skills for freedom, growth, and long term recovery. This is an ideal position for someone who is passionate about recovery and understands the struggles and victory that come through the process.

Training & Experience:

• Valid driver’s license
• RN or LPN license in the state of Maryland is REQUIRED 
• Previous experience with treatment of substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders is required; preferred experience with a treatment facility in the detox, residential, partial hospitalization (“PHP”), and/or intensive outpatient (“IOP) setting
• Ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years of experience

Sandstone Care is a treatment program specializing in working with adolescents and young adults struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
