The Video Production Specialist is responsible for the creation of video content from beginning concepts to finished deliverable. He, or she, will need to collaborate with various departments within the company in order to fulfill the training and communication needs that are to be hosted in the video medium. This individual will need to understand the culture of the organization in order to communicate in an effective and exciting way, will be expected to work independently when necessary, as well as be able to work well under tight deadlines
The content will be wide-ranging information. Some will be training style, culinary/recipe inspiration, and sales presentation style while others will be more traditional "talking head" and informative.

WHO WILL SUCCEED
The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of camera equipment, have the ability to “move and shoot” for live-action and recorded shots with a creative nature with angles and shooting.
Plan, produce and deliver videos to support both internal and external marketing and communication initiatives
Edit a wide range of social media videos: unscripted and scripted, using both original and archival footage (including branded content)
Quickly assemble edits and proactively experiment with different versions of an edit, exploring multiple directions
Create, develop or secure all assets related to video production, including music, voiceover, visual graphics, etc.
Collaborate within a team or independently to create engaging video content
Effectively communicate project status with the video team as well as leadership
Maintain proper organization of all projects, files and assets
Support local and on location video projects
Take and adopt creative direction and feedback
Manage the videography data storage system, ensuring the proper archiving, organization and redundancy of all video footage, projects and related media.
Stay abreast of new trends in content and technology in the editing, motion graphic and video production communities and suggest and share new ways to implement these trends/technologies.
Participate on planning teams in the development and maintenance of web system and video development
Create a polished final edit with color balance, sound mix and captions to be published on multiple channels
Manage a live video studio space for both recorded and live events.
Identify potential video/photo topics that can create excitement around our brand and arranging shoots
Planning out interviews, storyboarding, scripting and potentially casting, to turn general concepts into highly watchable, sharable pieces
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in film or photography, videography or multimedia journalism, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with social media
Experience with video editing software
Ability to work independently and with a team
Strong work ethic
Ability to complete work in a timely manner
Initiative and creativity for assignments given
Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot and perform repairs to audio, video and associated production equipment
Knowledge of computerized editing applications and procedures, audio and/or video editing and post-production procedures, techniques and standards
Must be passionate about video content
Adherence to video post-production workflows
Knowledge of Windows operating systems
Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
Ability to travel as needed
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Experience in still photography
A strong sense of design and the creative process
Creative project management skills
Experience with Canon DSLR and Cinema cameras
2D and/or 3D animated video experience a plus
Experience with Facebook Live, GoToMeeting/Webinar,
Experience with Blackmagic Design, DaVinci Resolve, and the Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Experience in food industry a plus
Drone pilot’s license a plus

Edit and repurpose existing video content so we can distribute them across our marketing channels
Shoot new video content either documenting meetings/training events, shooting our Chef’s with inspiring how to content, shooting sales, marketing, or tutorial style videos, and editing them so they're ready to publish
Meet with our marketing leads and digital marketing specialist to strategize new videos for social media ads, website content, customer specific content development, sales support, etc.
