Summary

Supervise, train, and evaluate agents, ensuring that all procedures are performed to Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort standards. Assist where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests, visitors and other departments. This is an on-site only role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist agents with guest complaints, problems being first line of defense before they reach Reservations Managers.

2. Review the booked reservations to ensure accuracy.

3. Supervise agents while management in off. Empowered to make management decisions while acting in supervisory role.

4. Confers with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and property management system use.

5. Conducts training sessions covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, refresher training as needed. 

6. Tests trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training. Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.

7. Other duties as assigned.

Basic Required Skills:

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.

• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. 

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.

• Must maintain clear and concise documentation and positive approach to conflict resolution.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit for several hours per day.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks.

• Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.

• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity. Able to sit for long periods of time.

• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.

• Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.

• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
