San Jacinto River Authority is Hiring a Wastewater Operator Near Spring, TX

The San Jacinto River Authority is seeking to fill a licensed Wastewater Operator or Operator-in-Training position for our Wastewater Treatment Plant located in The Woodlands, Texas. This position would operate wastewater collection, conveyance, treatment and disposal systems in a safe, cost effective and efficient manner and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.

Wastewater Operator starting pay range is $23.00 to $26.00/hour.

Operator-in-Training starting pay range is $18.25 to $22.00/hour.

SJRA offers a full benefit package including medical, dental & vision insurance, and paid vacation and sick time. Also included is a retirement savings plan in which SJRA contributes 8% automatically and matches up to an additional 4% of the employee’s contribution.

Requirements

Operator-in-Training:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· At least one (1) year of general work experience.

· Current Texas driver’s license with insurable record.

Wastewater Operator:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· At least one (1) year of practical hands-on experience in the water and/or wastewater operations field.

· TCEQ Class “C” Operator Certification in Groundwater or Wastewater

· Current Texas driver's license with insurable record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25 - $26.00 per hour
