Position: Assistant, Video Coaching (San Francisco)

Department: Baseball Operations

Reports to: Director, Video Coaching

Status: Full time with travel availability from February - October

Position Summary:

We are looking for a talented video editor to help Giants Baseball Operations deliver player-facing video content for use across the Giants organization with a large priority around the Major League club. The ideal candidate will be creative and resourceful, having had some exposure to different production roles. The ideal candidate should be a serviceable shooter, but more importantly, the ideal candidate will have a producer skill set – namely, strong soft skills, in order to work professionally and efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding team environment alongside the Giants diverse staff of coaches, players, analysts, trainers, strength coaches, and front office employees.

Position Responsibilities:

• Create video content at the direction of the Director, Video Coaching – often from scratch.
• Coordinate the production and timely delivery of content from concept to finished product in a very fast-paced environment.
• To occasionally work independently of the Director, Video Coaching and collaborate directly with coaches and front office personnel.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio.
• Professional mastery of at least one video / audio editing software program (e.g. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Lightworks, After Effects etc.).
• Evidence of continuing efforts to stay current on content production best practices.
• Passion and familiarity with baseball a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $66,500 to $110,800 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and other factors the San Francisco Giants consider relevant to the hiring decision.
