San Francisco Federal Credit Union is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near San Francisco, CA

Who Are We?

With an "A" health rating and solid year-over-year growth, San Francisco Federal Credit Union’s (SFFedCU) membership is now over 43,000, with assets surpassing $1.3 billion and branches located in San Francisco and San Mateo County. Continuing along its highly successful growth trajectory, SFFedCU is seeking a Business Development Representative able to work on-site at our San Francisco headquarters.

The Position

This position helps to increase awareness of the organization's brand, shares the benefits of a being a member with SFFedCU and grows new membership through active business development, community engagement and strong partnerships with various business lines of the organization. Our top candidate has a strong understanding of opportunities in the geographic areas the credit union serves, and is able to deliver a plan to most effectively penetrate the market in additional areas outside our current membership. This person will lead, participate, organize, drive and execute business and community development events and financial education courses. They will also conduct cold calls and prospecting to build a strong pipeline of membership applicants.

Who Are You?

You have a minimum of three (3) years related experience in a financial institution (credit union preferred) with a thorough knowledge of financial products and services. You also possess effective prospecting and closing skills with a strong knowledge of the market, and you must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. In addition, this position requires excellent oral and written communication skills as well as sales and service expertise.
