Samaritan Health Care, PC is Hiring a Remote Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Samaritan Health Care, PC has a unique opportunity for the right Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. We have an immediate opening part-time or full-time position.

We are looking for a qualified healthcare practitioner to care for our patients at Samaritan Health Care, PC, located in Greenville, MI, and out of office telemedicine. Samaritan's patients find better health and wellness through our integrated care model which incorporates primary care, substance use disorder, weight loss, and mental health services. Past experience in the treatment of patients with substance use disorder is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Summary

  • Provides patient care independently and/or with a collaborating physician as needed. Coordinating care with other members of the medical team and staff. Promotes a positive work environment.
  • Works effectively with technology, including using EMR, and other tools for patient care and management.
  • Communicates treatment and care plans to patients, families, and designated caretakers in an effective and compassionate manner. Is detail-oriented and efficient with the goals of patient-centered safety, respect, and quality as a priority.
  • Responsible for and participates in the continuity of care across multi-disciplinary services.

Requirements

  • Graduation from Accredited Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner Program
  • NCCPA Board Certification, if Physician Assistant
  • AANP Board Certification, if Nurse Practitioner
  • Michigan State Licensure (current)
  • DEA Licensure (current)
  • Job Types: Full-time or Part-time (flexible)
  • $50.00 per hour
