MAJOR FUNCTIONS: 

This supervisory position provides administrative and clinical support to milieu staff. In addition, this position is responsible for managing and monitoring day-to-day clinical operations and service delivery in activities to monitor the quality and appropriateness of client activities. The Assistant Director of Clinical Operations coordinates coverage for the facility, provides on-call administration as needed and manages facility emergencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises and monitors the therapeutic environment to ensure that behavioral guidelines are followed, a therapeutic milieu is maintained and interpersonal relationships remain positive. 

• Coordinates and implements recreational and therapeutic services for an assigned multidisciplinary treatment delivery team. 

• Helps implement and monitor policies, procedures and systems necessary for the effective and efficient oversight of program operations. 

• Provides regularly scheduled supervision to assigned milieu staff and documents supervisory sessions.

• Helps identify staff’s training needs and, in response, plans, develops and/or conducts training towards maintaining and improving staff competency and compliance with agency policy and procedure.

• Ensures that all program staff upholds the agency's Code of Conduct/Code of Ethics and comply with all Federal, state and local law/regulation, including 42 CFR confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security regulations.

• Networks and communicates with other departments as a member of the program’s management team.

• Participates in quality improvement/other agency committees or work groups.

• Performs other duties as request.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical discipline strongly preferred for designated programs with Two (2) years professional experience in operations and/or clinical capacity and an appropriate qualified healthcare credential such as CASAC, CRPA, preferred. 
• CASAC-t and lived experience would be considered. 

• Must have at least One (1) year supervisory experience.
• Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
