Works under the supervision of the Lead Clinical Dietitian to provide nutritional care including (but not limited to): counseling to patients and their families, documenting and maintaining nutrition-related records, assessing nutrition status of patients and developing the patient plan of care, and acting as nutritional consultant to the health care team. Act as the patient advocate and serves as a liaison between the healthcare team, food service operations and the patient. Participates in the development of policies & procedures and standards of care for clinical services. Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. Is able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and productivity under the challenges of varying workloads and patient populations, and stress. Performs other duties as required.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required. Master’s degree preferred.
Licensure: Must currently be a Registered Dietitian, in good standing and credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration - the credentialing agency for the American Dietetic Association” (or registry eligible). ServSafe Manager Certification via an accredited American National Standards Institute required. New hires/Transfers have 90 days from date of hire/transfer to obtain ServSafe certification and must continually remain current. Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) preferred.
Experience: 3 years clinical dietetics in acute care hospital and computer experience preferred. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred.
The hourly rate for this position is $38.51 - $48.13. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position.
