At Salata, our concept is and will always be simple; your salad is what you make it. As a built-to-order salad kitchen with more than 50 fresh toppings, five salad bases, a dozen house-made, gluten-free dressings, our guests can fully customize their salads and wraps exactly how they want with no restrictions. There are many other salad concepts like ours out there, but when you walk into a Salata we want our guests to feel like they can do, be, and create anything they want—because they can.

About the Role

The Catering Lead works alongside the corporate General Managers to execute all catering orders that go out to our guests through our third party and online ordering system. This individual must be able to work under pressure with a positive attitude and welcoming personality. This individual must take pride and ownership of ALL orders that go out to our guests. As a Catering Lead you must have attention to detail to ensure that all orders are sent out correctly, efficiently, and accurately.

Corporate Catering Lead Responsibilities

• Works alongside the General Managers (GM) & Catering Sales Manager (CSM) to direct operational efforts in the area of opportunity based on sales volume and daily orders.
• Moves between locations based on need, scheduled locations are provided on a day-to-day basis.
• Engage with clients by providing quality service and products by delivering their food efficiently and on time.
• Assist with day-to-day operations when needed.
• Uses CRM (MonkeyMedia) software to create, edit invoices/accounts, and print prep sheets, pack slips and make any notes associated with the client in profile
• Ensures all catering items and paper goods are provided with every order according to Salata recipe specifications.
• Manages and verifies all catering orders are 100% accurate and on time when delivered to the customer.
• Pulls and sets up items for next day catering orders- if needed.
• Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, and emergencies.
• Reports to work on time and follows the Salata Uniform policy.
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Food & Beverage, Catering Services, and Fast Casual experience is recommended.
• Excellent communication with our guests with a positive attitude.
• Outstanding coordination and multi-tasking abilities.
• Has a customer service-oriented approach.
• Must have the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must confidently use off-premises technology in the form of POS and Monkey Media (MSI).
• Must be proficient in Google Suite applications (Email, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Etc.)
• Great physical endurance
• Valid insurance and current driver's license, along with clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation & insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and or Serve Safe certificate

Physical Demands

• Occasionally required to stand, walk, or sit.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time non-exempt position. This position may be required to work additional hours and weekends based on business needs.

Work Environment

This job operates in a restaurant work environment setting. Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor restaurant environment/production setting with adequate ventilation. Occasionally be exposed to variable temperatures depending on the season. Daily environmental exposures to heat, cold, and water.

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day.
