Saint Joseph Health System is Hiring a Nurse Care Manager (RN) Near Paterson, NJ
St. Joseph University Medical Center is in search of a registered nurse to join the Nurse Care Manager team!
Location: 703 Main St. Paterson, NJ 07503 (30 minutes away from Manhattan)
*May float to the local community hospital St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center (15 min Commute) located at 224 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne, NJ 07470
Shifts: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Pay: $47.86-$62.22/hour based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Leads the development and ongoing management of a comprehensive, individualized care plan with each patient.
- Communicating with health care providers and insurance companies.
- Assures quality, cost-efficient care for an identified patient population through the continuum of care.
- Reviews medical records to ensure that admissions, continued stay and level of care changes are warranted.
*This is a case management position, not nurse manager
Must Haves:
- New Jersey RN license
- BLS certification
- 3-years in adult, and/or pediatric critical care, stepdown, med/surg, and/or maternal child nursing experience
- BSN
