Saint Francis House Inc is Hiring a Recovery Coach (part time) Near Boston, MA

Description

We are also offering a $4,000 HIRING BONUS! 

Pay out: $500 welcome in first paycheck. $3,500 after successful completion of probationary period - after 3 months of employment. Must be an external candidate, actively employed on date of payout, and remain in good standing.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Recovery Coach! This is a Part-time (20 hours per week) position working with our Workforce Development program. 

The Recovery Coach is an essential support for participants/clients with substance abuse and related mental/behavioral health issues. The Recovery Coach works with St. Francis House participants/clients through the recovery process as they move through the employment readiness training in the Workforce Development program services. The Recovery Coach acts as a liaison for clients between sober homes and St. Francis House. The Recovery Coach helps clients determine their personal goals, recommends additional services within SFH and/or the community, and provides guidance and support as they perform daily life management activities. The Recovery Coach collaborates with other team member in Workforce Development and St. Francis House to ensure they have researched and provided the client with access to all needed and available resources to support the client’s success in completion of the employment readiness training, acquiring meaningful employment, stable permanent housing, and ongoing addiction and behavioral/mental support.

Requirements

  • Certified Addition Recovery Coach (CARC) training required. CARC certification preferred. Assistance with certification may be available for qualified candidates.
  • One (1) year experience working with people in recovery from addition, mental health disorders or homeless population required.
  • Lived experience in recovery strongly encouraged.
