Description
SAIC is seeking a System Administrator for the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control (JEXC2) program in Panama City, Florida.
The qualified candidate will provide on-site and remote support to users at customer sites in various locations in the United Sates and abroad.
Job Responsibilities:
- Installation of new hardware or software
- Creating and managing user accounts
- Maintaining computer systems such as servers and databases
- Planning and properly responding to system outages and various other problems
- May include light programming or scripting to make the system workflows easier
- Training computer users and assistants
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in a Systems Administrator role
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Experience in a virtualized environment
- Ability to work both with a team and independently with minimal supervision
Required Certifications:
Must possess the following training and certifications or equivalent:
- Security
Clearance:
Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; Minimum of an Interim Secret clearance is required to start.
Required Travel:
Travel required 25% of the time. This role will include at least quarterly travel for approximately 3 weeks for each trip with 10-20% additional travel.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.Job Summary
