Summary: Responsible for G/L management, Monthly and annual cycle closing, Budgeting, Treasury Management, Audit, Federal, State and Local Tax, and all Departmental Reporting.

Scope of Position but not limited to: 

· Full G/L responsibility for 5 entities

· Manage all aspects of annual external audit of financial statements for three entities

· Manage all aspects of annual MD comptroller audit

· Manage all aspects of annual Federal and State tax preparation with external tax accountants for five entities

· Oversee all GL coding and cost accounting determinations

· Manage treasury needs and cash flow 

· Oversee all Journal Entries for five entities

· Monthly review of GL (Internal Audit)

· Oversee all EOM Accruals 

· Oversee Monthly Bank Reconciliations across all bank accounts for five entities

· Oversee Payroll journal entries and reconciliation 

· Coordinate and conduct weekly financial team meetings

· Oversee fixed asset accounting

· Partners with Director of Commercial Finance and Executive team for preparation of annual budgets

· Manage Monthly cycle closing process for five entities

· Manage Annual cycle closing process for five entities

· Oversees maintenance and integrity of multiple data sources

Requirements

· Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required

· Manage 3 direct reports within a finance department required

· Strong Excel skills required 

· Master’s Degree or CPA preferred 

· 7 years accounting experience preferred

· 5 years of experience as a Controller preferred

· Audit experience preferred

· Tax experience preferred

· Power BI and SQL database experience preferred

· ERP experience – SQL based ERP and SAP B1 experience preferred 

· Manufacturing w/STD COST accounting experience preferred
