Role Purpose: The Human Resource Coordinator performs a wide range of human resource functions including providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of the HR Department. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Full Cycle Recruitment- Job Postings, Job Fairs, Screening, Interviewing, and Onboarding. Create and maintain employee files (electronic), medical files, 401(K), and training records.Ensure employee information is accurate within the HRIS system for current or terminated employees. Track various HR metrics and suggest ways to improve.Concur Expense System; Ensures biweekly reports are developed and coordinated with the Finance department, adds new employees, removes terminated employees, enters project codes, updates employee information (manager and department changes), etc.Assist with planning and coordinating company and employee events (i.e., Red Cross training, flu shots, social committee, etc.)Create and communicate the annual HR training schedule for all employees. Assist with updating HR information and documents on the HUB, employee bulletin board, lunchroom presentation, etc.Assist with HR document-controlled forms and log.Clerical responsibilities: distributes mail, orders lunches for department meetings, answer telephone calls, greet visitors. maintains electronic appointment calendar for conference rooms, creates flyers.Works independently on special projects and assignments as required.Consistently maintains a commitment to quality, teamwork, confidentiality and professionalism.Performs other duties and assigned.Education and/or Experience:• Successful candidate must have an associate degree in HR or a related field (or equivalent experience)• HR Certification (PHR) preferred• Candidate must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications (Dayforce Ceridian preferred).• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applicationsEOE including Veterans and Disabled.
