Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for stopping production and inform their Supervisor, or Quality Dept. if any quality issues are discovered.
• Requires input into fixture design, selection of cutting tools, creation of CNC programs and runoff of parts through PPAP process.
• Resolve manufacturing and processing problems at the root cause, as well as implement immediate solutions with the ability to improve cycle times, uptime and throughput while reducing waste and unnecessary costs.
• Facilitate cross-functional project teams and support the continuous improvement process to reduce process/product variation and meet customer expectations.
• Ability to evaluate problems and make recommendations for solutions
• The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for performing and oversee audits as required.
• Involved and responsible for corrective action of products or processes that do not conform to requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience with CAD and CAM Software.
• Strong mathematical skills including statistical methods.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to complete reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
• Basic computer skills.
