The HR Assistant is responsible for smiling and creating a supportive and comfortable atmosphere by welcoming visitors and supporting all employee-facing services. You will serve as the champion of organization and maintain a high-level of pride in managing the front office and contributing to the efficiency of the People Success Team.

As a role model in assisting peers, the HR Assistant will perform a variety of human resource support duties; including copying, scanning, filing, creating correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, ordering food for events, event and meetings setup, processing employment verifications, distributing mail, ordering supplies, assist in maintaining the confidential human resource database and all employee records and files, assist peers with delivery of workplace orientations, and much more.

Who are we looking for?

Someone who embraces five-star service and the understanding that "you have seven seconds to make a first impression", is comfortable meeting and engaging with new people, has a warm and engaging demeanor, able to assess circumstances, empathize, and offer help, have a positive attitude and a strong sense of urgency in resolving issues that may arise.

  • Required Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Licensure/Certification: Valid CA Driver's License.
  • Required Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of human resources, administrative, front desk, concierge, customer service or other hospitality experience.
  • Required Relevant Professional References: Must demonstrate a proven track-record of making a positive impact, by providing references of those you immediately work with, both supervisor and peers.
  • Essential Interpersonal Skills:
    • Must like to smile and laugh at least 10 times a day
    • Understand the importance of grace
    • Strong awareness that a clean, functional, and presentable workspace contributes to lower stress and champions the little ways we can enhance employee wellness.
    • Comfortable with and embracing of new technologies and digital tools, such as excel, Apps, HRIS databases, social networking, and cloud technologies.
    • Utilize and maintain integrity of databases and other digital tools, which may include administration of OneDrive/Teams/Sharedrive sites or similar sites.
    • Utilize a high level of attention to detail.
    • Responds promptly with accurate and thorough information according to the specific request
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Highly adaptable and flexible
    • Able to work independently with little supervision
    • Demonstrate awareness that errors in judgment may cause short-term impacts to your immediate and extended team
    • Able to create, comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, memos, and emails and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.

Must be able to work in the U.S. legally. We are unable to sponsor H1B Visa's.
