Department: Dental

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Requirements for Success in Your Role:

The Dental Treatment Coordinator is responsible for preparing, coordinating, and presenting financial agreements and other necessary documentation to inform the patient of the dentist's recommended treatment options. The candidate must possess the communication skills to explain and ensure that the patient understands the importance and the purpose of all recommended treatment. Additional skills include knowledge of available programs and payers, and determining the sliding fee scale to provide all financial options for the patient. Responsible for front office duties that include but are not limited to answering phones, inputting patient information, coordinating appointments, reporting, and maintaining the EDR database related to new patient information and treatment plans.

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required. Graduate of a dental assistant program is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Valid CA Driver's License.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' dental office/front and back; advanced knowledge of dental terminology. Knowledgeable/trained in dental terminology and CDT coding preferred.
  • As a requirement of this position, you must receive EPIC certification for the module you have been hired into.

Preferred:

  • FQHC outpatient clinic

Must be able to work in the U.S. legally. We are unable to sponsor H1B Visa's.
