Job Details

Job Location: 6043 Hollywood Blvd. - Hollywood, CA
Position Type: Regular, Full-Time
Salary Range: $31.00 - $37.00 Hourly
Job Shift: Day Shift (8AM-5PM)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees and/or consultations with managers.
  • Using adult learning models and reflecting the various learning styles, designs and customizes program materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations, and quick reference guides, incorporating ongoing evaluation information into class materials on a continuous improvement cycle
  • Creates and delivers the new hire orientation experience and training
  • Develops and evaluates educational programs that provide upskilling and personal/professional growth opportunities for employees, thereby increasing employee engagement
  • Ensures enterprise-wide completion of required compliance training
  • May lead or outsource the creation of leadership development programs to support the organization and drive long-term sustainable growth
  • Actively stays current with instructional design and training methods
  • Creates and tracks career pathing models and employee trajectory within these models
  • Develops and delivers soft skills training programs for new Supervisors/Managers
  • Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides and course materials.
  • Work with leaders to coordinate and execute department on-boarding and the delivery of other training materials prepared by other departments/instructors.
  • Assists the HR Department with employee events, newsletters and other employee programs
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in leadership development, organizational development, business, or a related field preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in corporate training or Human Resources
  • Knowledge of principles and methods of adult curriculum and training design, and teaching for individuals and groups
  • Some experience working with HR on focus groups, needs studies and employee check-ins
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to a changing environment, including adjusting training methods and content
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Must be a creative, flexible, and innovative team player within the HR Department
  • Covid-19 vaccination required as a condition of employment as required by State law. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
