Pay Range: $131,730.00 - $156,741.00
Position Summary
The Director of Clinical Operations provides clinical oversight of multiple programs to ensure clinical programs are implemented in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders.The Director will also spend 50% of their time serving patients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be a Clinical provider able to provide services for pediatrics, OB, adult and geriatrics care
- Provide leadership and oversight for the onboarding and training of all Clinical Providers
- Coordinate yearly onboarding of new interns/residents
- Coordinate both new and refresher EPIC trainings for all clinicians (this includes HEDI/CPT documentation, new note templates, AWV note template, billing updates)
- Telemedicine Training
- In partnership with IT, coordinate and lead all clinician trainings related to projects related to OCHIN, EPIC and LANES.
- Work in collaboration with Billing to ensure clinicians receive timely communications and trainings around billing changes
- Leads the development, review and implementation of all clinical workflows, systems processes and performance improvement initiatives. Participates in development and implementation of cross-departmental processes and workflows.
- Participation in Pharmacy and Therapeutics meetings
- Project Lead for Slotnick Fellows
- EPIC Clinical Champion
- Participate in telemedicine work group (including Doxy telemedicine)
- Other projects as assigned by the CMO
Position Requirements:
- Must hold an MD or NP in California
- Must provide proof of Covid vaccination
- Fluency in spoken Spanish with the ability to translate preferred.
- 5-7 years of related clinical experience required
- Experience in a FQHC setting preferred
- Previous experience with OCHIN EPIC preferred
