Summary: Utilizes basic knowledge of construction trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools,

equipment and materials to assist crew by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Employees are required to know the companies policies, rules and regulations found in the

Personnel Manual and abide by them at all times.

· Assists a skilled or semi-skilled tradesman as directed.

· Performs routine tasks.

· Is responsible for site housekeeping at the direction of the foreman.

· Performs duties as a helper.

· Performs such duties as hauling heavy materials, demolition work and various other preparatory

work.

· Performs simple and elementary work not specifically related to the trades such as, moving

equipment or materials.

· Attendance & Punctuality- Reporting to work on time are essential functions to every position at S&S Builders. The workday begins at a specified time, and is each employees responsibility to be at that site and prepared to work at that specified time.

· Follows Directions- Follows instructions, responds to management direction, Able to discuss and ask questions to ensure that directions are well received. Needs

to be able to communicate with other employees on the task at hand.

· Company Support- Looking for 4- 10 hour days presently.

· Safety- Reports potentially unsafe conditions, uses equipment and materials properly.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather

conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; work in high,

precarious places; extreme cold, extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands;

employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally anything over 50 LBS will be either a multiple person lift, or equipment is to be used.

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
