The Warehouse Assistant (Temp to Perm) performs warehouse duties to ensure smooth operations with utmost efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Perform warehouse duties: load/unloads shipments and bags
- Sort and place materials or items on racks and shelves
- Perform pickups and delivery of shipments as directed by supervisor
- Handle exception shipments: coordinate with couriers and customer service for resolution of exceptional shipments
- Protect shipments against damage and theft at all times
- Report to supervisor any unmarked packages and customer complaints
- Inspect vehicle before leaving on route
- Complete operation reports/paperwork assigned by supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- HS. diploma or equivalent
- Previous Warehouse or Customer Service experience
