RWJBarnabas Health is Hiring a COMPUTER OPERATOR/SYSTEMS SUPPORT Near Elizabeth, NJ

JOB SUMMARY
- Job duties include: EDI files retrieval from FTP sites, update of Patient account files across multiple software platforms. File transfer and Quality Assurance of data from one software application to another. Update and QA of various master files for multiple systems for patient charging and billing. Interdepartmental communications to trouble shoot and correct patient account issues. Help monitor (AS400) iE server financial applications jobs running 24/7; Take Help Desk level 1 calls to cover other staff members lunch and time off.
Educational Skills Required (Degree(s), Certification(s), License, etc.)
- Bachelors degree in computer science or business strongly preferred; or minimum of Associates Degree with applicable experience required.
Work Experience Required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and Excel. Experience in cash application a plus. Experience in (AS400) iE5 Server IBM operating system OS major plus. Experience with excel, creating and distributing reports. Must be able to work at least one Saturday night shift 11p to 7a a month. Must be willing to occasional cover weekend day shift 6a to 4p Help Desk level one calls coverage. Required to cover at least one holiday a year day or night shift. Needs good interpersonal and communication skills and should be able to manage several work efforts at the same time.
