Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Water Supply Planning Assistant Project Manager , we'll count on you to:

• Provide strong analytical skills and sound judgment in performing project tasks and managing project teams based on clear, specific objectives, but within an environment of multiple variables which may require proactive communication for clarification.
• Lead/perform/develop: water supply planning analyses, water availability evaluations, water supply system models, planning level cost estimates, water infrastructure risk and resiliency assessments, and water conservation savings evaluations with best management practices.
• Lead/develop technical and non-technical reports and presentations including visualization of data.
• Assist with business development activities including client relations, marketing pursuits, and project proposals.
• Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Water Resources or Environmental engineering, or closely related field
• Registered PE in Texas
• 5 years of experience in water resources/water supply planning and development
• Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite and ArcGIS.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's in engineering Water Resources or Environmental engineering, or closely related field
• Experience in surface water rights and surface water availability modeling
• Experience with Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Water Rights Analysis Package (TCEQ WRAP), RiverWare, and Texas Water Development Board Uniform Cost Model used in Texas Regional Water Planning
