Program Director 

We are seeking a dynamic Program Director Leader to oversee the daily operation of evidence-based practice programming. He/she provides clinical supervision of program dynamics within the acute therapeutic milieu for patients. Supports program development and organizational objectives while ensuring appropriate services support patient goals for recovery, stabilization, and community re-integration. The director will help to assess, supervise, monitor, and plan treatment services for patients and their families. Ensures the use of person-centered planning and monitors the effectiveness of the multi-disciplinary treatment team process. Communicates with other service providers both internally and externally for a continuum level of care coordination. Monitors patient/family satisfaction and treatment outcomes. The director will supervise and assist in hiring, training, and evaluation of Mental Health Technicians. Promotes facility values and philosophies in all aspects of treatment practice in accordance with Ridgeview Institute policies and procedures, local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and licensure accreditation standards.

Located on a 37-acre wooded campus in Smyrna, GA, on the outskirts of Atlanta, Ridgeview Institute provides a safe, caring environment with Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, Counselors, Activity Therapists, and Mental Health Technicians. Treatment services include inpatient and outpatient services and aftercare.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Director!

Qualifications

Education: Preferred education is a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work Education, or a related professional field or equivalent is preferred. Master Level BSN, MSN. 

License: Preferred, Georgia State license in social work or clinical-related mental health field.MSW, APC, LPC, and LCSW preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) - five (5) years experience in health care administration, preferably in an acute psychiatric setting.

Additional Requirements: CPR/First Aid and CPI Training. Strong Leadership skills, a thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and state and federal regulatory standards. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; relationship management, and multi-tasking skills are required.
