Position Summary:
As the FOH Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our operations, collaborating closely with the GM and AGM to ensure exceptional customer experiences, efficient service, and adherence to policies and procedures. This is a unique hybrid role where you get to showcase your skills as a bartender/server for one day per week and spend the remaining four days supervising the team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise FOH staff, ensuring efficient workflow, proper table rotation, and timely service.
- Assume overall responsibility for the establishment during assigned shifts, making informed decisions and handling customer concerns.
- Lead pre-shift meetings, communicate updates, and foster teamwork.
- Work as a bartender/server one day per week, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including opening and closing cash registers and processing payments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce safety procedures.
- Assist in training new employees and provide feedback for staff performance improvement.
- Maintain menu knowledge and collaborate with management on changes and specials.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving supplies.
- Handle customer feedback, resolve conflicts professionally, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with management to plan and execute special events and promotions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and comprehensive understanding of bar and restaurant operations.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well under pressure, and adapts quickly.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a bar and restaurant industry supervisory role is required.
- At least two years of experience in server and/or bartending positions is required.
- Must have a valid Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain the certification within your first 5 days of employment.
- Must have a valid ABC RBS Alcohol Training Certification or the ability to obtain the certification within your first 5 days of employment.
