Position is for an experienced HRIS Administrator for HR Systems with SQL skills reporting to the HRIS Team. We are looking for a great HRIS Administrator who has a passion to code and a desire to learn new technologies working on high-profile projects. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of systems, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvements. This position is full-time, benefits eligible, and based at Rush Enterprises Corporate Office in New Braunfels TX.

 PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Functions)

• Serve as Administrator/Security Master for HCM/LMS/ATS/DM Solutions
• Support ServiceNow Tickets assigned to HRIS
• Build reliable, accurate, & sophisticated reports related to business activities such as Turnover, New Hires, and Terminations via reporting tools & writing custom SQL scripts
• Designs, implements, and oversees the administration of business processes associated with departmental information management.
• Configures, tests, audits, reports, troubleshoots, and provides technical user support and integrations.
• Configures, recommends, tests and maintain systems with complex business rules, formulas, and workflows within core applications.
• Provide innovative technical solutions to solve business problems in a fast-paced environment
• Perform Database development in Microsoft SQL Server with an ability to write efficient SQL queries
• Support Service Now Incidents/SR
• Build and maintain Audit reports for External Auditors
• Other duties as assigned by the HRIS Director

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Position requires dealing with confidential data and must safeguard against mishandling. Must ensure security is high priority in maintenance and transmittal of data
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team of software developers
• Strong demonstrated experience working incidents/SR using ServiceNow
• Handle many tasks, reports, and projects simultaneously
• Extended working hours may be required by management and business needs

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 3 years of full-time work experience
• Experience using Agile tools such Azure DevOps or ServiceNow
• Must have experience in SQL Programming, specifically with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Experience with stored procedures, views, agent jobs and SSIS packages in support of SQL reports and visualization development
• This job involves reporting. Familiarity/Experience with a reporting tool like IBM Cognos, Crystal Reports, SAP Business Objects is highly preferred.
• Attention to Detail, Good Work Ethic, and ability to collaborate with clients are a must for this role.
