Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and focused individual to join our team as a Security Guard. In this role, the individual will patrol the premises and monitor surveillance equipment to ensure the safety of the property and all employees on-site. The ideal candidate for the Security Guard position will be able to thrive under general supervision reporting to the Security Manager and will not hesitate to act in accordance with training to achieve our company security goals. The most important aspect of this role is to maintain safety for all employees and customers on-premises.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol property internal and external perimeter area
• Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV, fire alarm, and Intrusion alarm) for possible issues
• Ensure the safety of property and people on company complex
• Monitor entry gates and control access to the company property when necessary
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Complete security logs and submit incident reports
• Monitor temporary employees for contraband being brought into the facility
• Assist in termination of temporary employees when requested; this sometimes includes physically escorting them off the property

Requirements

Key Requirements:

• State of Arizona Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) License
• Physical stamina including but not limited to lifting up to 50lbs, walking, running, standing and climbing stairs
• Active Driver License and mobile phone
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• During large print jobs, hours will be extended for coverage
• Must own and supply personal sidearm (9mm) semi-automatic with 2 extra magazines

Experience/Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• State of Arizona Armed Security firearm license preferred
• Law enforcement or military experience strongly preferred
• CPR and first aid certification a plus
