Ruggable is Hiring a Procurement Manager Near Charlotte, NC

Job Summary:

As the Procurement Manager, you will play a vital role on the Procurement team to ensure stability of material planning and execution of procurement processes. You are a strategic and analytical thinker who is comfortable making decisions in data-heavy, fast-paced environments while maintaining a strong focus on the details. You will lead a team of associates, build vendor relationships, review PO planning & performance metrics, and lead strategies to stabilize risks in the supply chain. You are a shrewd negotiator, a thoughtful people leader, and a strong communicator who serves as a close link to the cross-functional partners.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead a team of Procurement talent to plan orders and maintain continuity of supply across Ruggable’s network
  • Work cross-functionally with the Operations team to ensure successful product launches
  • Work closely with the ERP team to support implementation and process improvement
  • Build KPI dashboards and vendor scorecards to quantitatively manage supplier performance across order fulfillment, material quality, service, and cost
  • Problem-solve potential procurement issues and create solutions through root cause analysis
  • Lead day-to-day communication with suppliers
  • Create and maintain procurement models to forecast buying needs
  • Onboard vendors into our supply chain network through documentation, training, SOPs, and clear expectation-setting

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required: 

  • 3-5 years of professional experience working in global supply chain, procurement, or operations
  • Proven track record of people leadership and development
  • Strong project management with high attention to detail
  • Experience building trust-based relationships with domestic and international vendors
  • Experience conducting quantitative analysis (modeling) that can drive to data insights and results
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft / Google Suites
  • Experience in or willingness to get familiar with NetSuite
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced growth environment with competing priorities

Preferred: 

  • APICS certification
