Job Purpose Summary The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing and optimizing dimensional models and data sources for all KPI related data across the organization. This includes but is not limited to sales, loyalty and HR data. Leads by example and is accountable for the C.O.R.E. 5. Essential Job Duties The position involves working closely with third party vendors, internal IT team and other cross-functional departments and will report to the SVP of Information Technology. The ideal candidate will be able to work with automated solutions that extract, transform and load data used to drive business operations / decisions into data lakes, data warehouses and BI dashboards Lead development efforts for analyzing and organizing raw data from multiple sources Interpret trends to conduct complex data analysis and report on results Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling Develop analytical tools utilizing interactive/dynamic dashboards Build algorithms and prototypes Work with internal IT resources to develop and QA ETL applications Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability. Improve existing data governance, analysis, and reporting processes to drive efficiency Management of multiple high-profile projects Non-Essential Job Duties May perform similar and incidental duties as required. Job Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 3-5 years of SQL Programming and 2 years of Tableau experience preferred. Experience with OLO online ordering and Punchh loyalty platforms a plus. 1 years Snowflake and 3-5 years C syntax programming language preferred. Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio. Hands-on experience with SQL database design and Tableau BI tool. Ability to create data sources, dashboards and worksheets. Snowflake/knowledge of Snow SQL preferred with solid understanding of how to push and pull data. Working knowledge of MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Language Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Other: Excellent organization, data review and reporting skills.
