What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Vendor Relations Manager (Remote) position at RSM?
- Develop, maintain and ensure accuracy of Talent vendor listing and storage of active contracts, MSAs and SLAs, including proactive management of contract renewal processes
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders (users of vendor services) and third-party vendors to negotiate contracts and handle escalated problems and program appeals for largest and highest spend vendor contracts within Talent
- Establish vendor monitoring and tracking processes, as well as overall vendor rating structure to assess the performance of vendors and ensure continuous improvement. Work with underperforming vendors to ensure minimum performance standards are met.
- Work with strategic sourcing to track, identify and report savings opportunities for true ups, renewals, vendor consolidation and additional services.
- Ensuring vendor compliance with company standards
- Oversee vendor billing and disbursements. Track monitor and control costs, driving service excellence and mitigating risks to gain increased value from vendors throughout the contract lifecycle
- Partner with the business, internal strategic sourcing, legal, IT security and data privacy teams as it relates to vendor contracting to ensure the appropriate level of oversight is in place and the vendors are meeting business and contractual requirements
- Support Talent Operations Leadership and Chief of Staff by collecting information for budgeting, contract summaries and cost comparisons with third party vendors across the Talent organization. Act as Talent vendor subject matter expert, providing guidance and sharing expert advice with Talent leadership team
- Manage and oversee additional vendor management team members
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Accounting, Finance or other related business concentration
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR procurement, HR Finance, Vendor relationship management or like disciplines in large-scale organizations
- Supervisory experience for a strategic team of professionals.
- Prior experience coaching and developing a high performing team required.
- Ability to engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously
- Good working knowledge of sourcing process and methodology
- Excellent leadership and communication skills along with proven coaching and people development capabilities
- Strong understanding of HR environment
- Working knowledge of HR policies, processes and tools
- Strong relationship management skills with focus on supply chain management or procurement
- Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Proficient and Microsoft Office product suite
- Outstanding organizational skills that are solution-oriented
- Ability to work well under pressure; meet established targets and goals in a high volume, fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment
- Strong business acumen
- Strong networking capabilities inside and outside the organization
